As a landscape photographer who thrives on discovering hidden gems, my recent stay at Sandman Calgary Airport left an indelible mark. Despite a minor hiccup with the shuttle service, the warm welcome from the efficient staff and the well-maintained facilities quickly overshadowed any inconvenience. The location in Calgary's northeast offered a mix of convenience and tranquility, being so close to the airport yet away from the bustling city center.While my fellow explorer and I chose to dine at other venues during our stay, the tantalizing aromas wafting from the hotel's restaurant, Chop Steakhouse & Bar, beckoned to our taste buds. The thought of indulging in a gourmet meal amid the cozy ambiance of the eatery lingered in our minds. Breakfast options available at Great North American Grill were enticing, offering a tempting start to the day.Despite not sampling the culinary delights firsthand, the proximity to dining establishments like A&W Restaurant and Edo Japan added a layer of culinary excitement to our stay. I look forward to returning for a true gourmet getaway next time.
